"Volants et Fourchettes" is a project created for those with a passion for comfort, good food and old cars.
Coming from Paris, Toulouse or Bordeaux via the A20, take the 45 exit, direction Vigeois.
Coming from Lyon, via the A89, take exit 46.1. Then, take the A20 direction Limoges until Exit 45 (Vigeois).
To find Viallevaleix, from the centre of Vigeois, follow the "Route Touristique du Vieux Pont" .
This "Maison d'hôtes" is owned and run by Marie-Christine and Jean-Paul Brunerie who will welcome you to experience fine local food in ambient surroundings.
The guest rooms have been decorated with taste and have ensuites.
Currently, two rooms are available. Two more rooms will be available shortly.
The swimming pool overlooks the Vézère Valley where dinner and breakfast may be served in the garden.
This is a Classic Car region. If you arrive in a classic, or any other car, or motorcycle, it will be parked in an enclosed wooden garage. In this old garage, we have all the tools for a service and those minor repairs for your "Old Timer".
At "Volants & Fourchettes", you will discover the pleasure of driving old cars on our Correzien roads. Upon request, we'll prepare the road-book for your week-end.
In addition,"Volants & Fourchettes" can prepare regional meals for groups of friends and clubs. Foie gras and terrines are Marie-Christine's speciality. The cuisine is seasonal. When mushrooms and truffles are in season, Marie-Christine prepares an appropriate dish.
"Volants & Fourchettes" is situated within the Vézère Valley. This valley is rich in medieval history, festivals, old bridges, country walks, old houses, castles and plenty to do for energetic. We can even offer you an afternoon paddling a kayak or racing arround in go-kart.
Reservations for rooms and meals are required.
